Lufthansa to offer noise cancelling headphones in business class

Lufthansa recently announced it will be offering new noise cancelling headphones in its business class cabins from January 2017 onwards. The technology company Harman will equip all business class seats with the AKG N60 headphones.

A spokesperson of Harman said that the noise cancelling headphones have been acoustically tuned and designed keeping in view the travelers in mind. The headphones will also be featuring the “best in class active noise cancellation” thus significantly minimizing the disruptive sounds that the premium customers might be encountering on the aircrafts. The headphones have been manufactured using leather, memory foam and aluminum providing elegant aesthetics and significantly remaining lightweight so that the customers enjoy a comfortable listening experience.

Meanwhile, in another development Lufthansa recently launched nonstop flights to Denver from Munich in May this year. The flights between the two destinations will be operated with the help of an Airbus A330-300 aircraft configured with a seating capacity of a total of 236 passengers. The airline will be operating the flights five times per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flights would make its departure from Denver International airport at 4.05 pm and arrive in Munich next morning. However, during the peak summer travel months the route will be served with the help of Airbus A340-800 aircraft instead of Airbus A330-300 aircraft from the months of July to October.

Juergen Siebenrock, Vice President The Americas at Lufthansa German Airlines, said, “The company has accorded great importance to Denver since 2001, and it has proved to be an important market. It is a matter of delight that the service is once again been re-launched on Denver-Munich route, which will see the capacity being increased by about 50 percent. This also proves the fact that both Munich and Frankfurt have been receiving a large number of leisure and business travelers from the United States with the boost in demand.”
