Lufthansa unveils new business class seats maximizing travel comfort

Germany’s national carrier Lufthansa recently unveiled its new business class seats on international flights. The new seats in business class flights features a horizontal sleeping surface measuring 1.98 meters in length.

According to the airline, the seat converts into a comfortable bed at the press of a button. The airline stated that the customers traveling in business class cabins are offered great comfort. Apart from a flat bed or an upright or reclining seat with its intuitive adjustments, the business class cabins also offer additional storage and enhanced entertainment system.

The airline is offering innovative business class seating arrangement in the form of a “V”, wherein two neighboring seats are angled towards one another along a central axis. This seating arrangement is aimed at providing business class passengers greater privacy.

Jens Bischof, Member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board, said that while designing its new business class seats the airline tried to involved its customers in a big way and kept their wishes and requirements in mind to deliver a good business class product to their likings.
