Malaysia Airline New Business Class Flights to Australia

Malaysia Airlines; responding to the spike in demand for business class seats for long haul flights, is making quite a few changes to its Australia bound flights. In all, the changes would bring good news for business class travelers since the airline would use the new Airbus A330-300 planes that offer advanced business class seats and offerings.

The changes would be in effect from the next month. To accommodate these changes, Malaysian Airline is shuffling around its flights from Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth services.

Here is the breakdown of how the air flights are being shuffled:

Adelaide

Come September 26th and Adelaide bound passengers would fly in the new A330 cabins. The plane would be rolled out on all Adelaide flights and would replace the Boeing 777-200ER planes.

Melbourne

From September 26th both daily flights on the Melbourne-Kuala Lumpur route would get the new A330 cabins. Melbourne bound passengers would have to wait a little more for the Airbus A380.

Perth

Unlike the other routes, Perth route is slightly trickier. From September 26th to October 29th, Malaysian Airline would reduce the number of flights to 9 from the earlier 10.  Do check with airlines about any cancelled flights during this period.

Old A330 would continues on this route for until February 15th when Malaysian Airline would increase the flights frequency back to 10 and roll out the new A330-300 planes and cabins. The only exception to this would be the MH127 (Perth bound) on Thursdays and Kuala Lumpur return flight
MH126 on Fridays. These two routes would have the new planes.
