MileagePlus Digital Media Store launched by United Airlines for members

Passengers booking air tickets on United Airlines within the United States can now look forward to use their accumulated miles for music albums, tracks and movies.

United Airlines recently announced the launch of its MileagePlus Digital Media Store for the benefit of MileagePlus frequent flyer program members. This is the first-of-its-kind digital media store to be launched in the airline industry.

MileagePlus members booking flights on United Airlines will be able to make use of their miles for movies, music albums and tracks.
 
According to the airline, the features of the Digital Media Store include a full catalog of music. These include popular songs from the past as well as the present in a wide range of genres like classical, jazz, country, rock and pop.

Some movies are already available at the Digital Media Store. The airline stated that additional movies and TV shows would also be available later this year.

MileagePlus members presently living in the United States can take the advantage of having access to the Digital Media Store.
