More Trans-Pacific flights from LAX, DFW

Korean Air and Qantas are rolling out more Trans-Pacific flights from LAX, DFW in a bid to capture maximum market share from the airport.

Korean Air would start flying A380s on Los Angeles route to Seoul from 11th October.  With the move, the Jetliner would enter the 5,956 mile long transpacific route as well and carry 407 seats out of which 301 are economy seats with 12 First class and 94 lie flat business class seats.

Qantas on the other hand is adding Dallas-Sydney flights to its inventory. Beginning July, 2012, the flights would ply daily on the route. Currently, Boeing 747-400ER serves the route.
