Etihad Airways recently took an innovative step of launching new business class amenity kits that are destination-inspired and will be based on different cities on its international network. The new business class amenity kits will in fact be an updated collection.
UAE’s national carrier Etihad Airways, which is a partner of award-winning LUXE City Guides, has collaborated to design the new range of amenity kits. Apart from LUXE City Guides, the airline has also joined hands with London-based ‘Scaramouche + Fandango’, a skincare and grooming brand, for creating the kits.
The unique partnership of Etihad Airways, LUXE City Guides and Scaramouche + Fandango came into existence for the first time in October 2015. The updated collection of stylish amenity kits would be offered to the business class customers of the airline and can be taken along with them after flights as souvenirs for future use.
The new amenity kits would be designed based on 5 new cities, which are an addition to the airline’s portfolio. These cities include New York, Bangkok, Melbourne, Rome and São Paulo. The existing amenity kit based on Abu Dhabi has been once again been redesigned and comes along with a completely refreshed city guide.
A spokesperson of Etihad Airways said that the designs are exclusive to the airline and created specially by LUXE City Guides. Each amenity kit will be featuring a specially created city guide, which will prominently showcase each destination’s shopping options, boutiques, bars, spas, restaurants, and best hotels, in addition to personal tour guides, specialists and services.
The amenity kit will be featuring products by Scaramouche + Fandango. These include a sleep pack consisting of eye mask and socks, earplugs, a honey and shea butter lip balm, and a dental pack. The main highlight of the comfort kit will be a luxurious facial moisturizer made with essential oils and anti-oxidants, and enriched with vitamin E.
