Air France has recently unveiled its
new menus for first class and business class customers travelling on long-haul routes from Paris. According to the airline, Michelin-starred chef Michel Roth has created varied dishes for travelers in business class. However, the menus being offered in first class have been designed and prepared by chef Guy Martin associated with Le Grand Vefour in Paris.
The dishes are being changed every month, and will continue till June this year. The business class customers were offered onion asparagus, braised beef tenderloin and carrot mousseline with mustard during the month of April. The premium fliers would be able to enjoy vegetable sticks, caramelized mango and pineapple, and chicken with citrus honey and rare peppers during May. The offerings in June are also delectable. The customers would e offered oyster mushrooms, spinach shoots, red rice, tarragon-flavoured lobster sauce, and pan-fried shrimp.
The customers traveling in first class would be offered six main dishes along with two starters. The menus will be rotational every month until June. The main course offered during April included pan fried pigeon in a liquorice sauce along with snow peas sautéed in live oil and a mango pine apple confit. During the month of May the first class customers would be able to enjoy fennel, fava beans, piquillos, sweet pepper seasoning, Venere rice and pan fried cod. The airline will be offering Sumac prawns wrapped in a chicken breast, spring vegetables, and poultry and shellfish sauce as a main course in June. The starter to be offered during May and June include young spinach roots, pecan nuts, crunchy salad, and lobster on a bed of fresh coriander.
Air France has initiated a program to keep its premium customers traveling in first class and business class happier by changing the menus regularly and offering the newly-created dishes by renowned chefs. The airline has said that it will keep surprising its customers always and wants to keep its status of Ambassador of fine French dining in the Sky intact.
