New Premium Economy seats unveiled by Air New Zealand

New Zealand’s national carrier Air New Zealand recently unveiled its brand new Premium Economy Spaceseat on its Boeing 777-300 aircrafts.

According to the airline, premium economy seats provide the passengers a great and affordable option between Economy Class and Business Class for long-haul flights.

Providing the details about its new Premium Economy offering, Air New Zealand said that the inner seats in the configuration are angled towards each other and have been designed for couples. However, the outer seats have been designed to provide greater privacy to the passengers.

The unique feature of new premium economy seats is that its fixed shell design doesn’t allow the person in front to recline backwards providing inconvenience to the passenger seating behind. Instead, the seats slide out like an armchair.

The airline also said that the premium economy seats have a 41-inch seat pitch and provides more room to recline. The premium economy cabins also include upgraded entertainment and food and beverage service.
