New Radisson Blu coming up in Minneapolis, to open this summer

Minneapolis is getting ready for Super Bowl 2018. Several new projects are on the anvil right now. One such ambitious project is the construction of new Radisson Blu hotel which is scheduled to open its doors for the customers this summer. The new hotel will prove to be a boon for scores of Super Bowl fans descending in the city for the great event.

The hotel has been exquisitely designed and bears the hallmark of renowned hospitality projects designer Stonehill & Taylor. The newly-revamped Radisson Blu will comprise of a total of 360 rooms and suites. These include an executive lounge and 3 Club floors.

The guests will get a cozy and relaxing feel as they enter the beautifully designed rooms. The mid-century style modern rooms don a neutral color palette. So, be ready to chill out! Apart from the feeling of relaxation, you can fulfill your important chores with the clutter-free working space that these rooms offer.

Brace to take a virtual in-depth tour of the hotel right away. The lobby of Radisson Blu has been completely revamped. The hard-to-miss video wall at the lobby is ready to captivate you endlessly.

The furniture in the Radisson Blu provides ample hint of its Scandinavian roots. The timeless Egg Chair, which has been painstakingly designed by Arne Jacobsen, a Danish designer, will surely be the cynosure of all eyes.

The bar in the hotel is modern and crisp. The lighting here is dazzling. The ceilings reflecting a soft glow as well as clear pendant lighting is all set to lift your mood setting the right mode to strike a casual conversation on a cocktail.

The Fire Lake Restaurant at the hotel has been elegantly designed. Satiate your hunger at the restaurant, which provides a rustic and yet sophisticated feel. The chic restaurant heavily draws on the landscape of Minnesota and those of its industries. The materials used in designing the restaurant such as reclaimed barn wood, steel and copper.

The stylish Swan Chair with design dating to 1958 designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen in the boardroom is a remarkable feature in the boardroom.

Apart from the Radisson Blu hotel, there are many projects that are coming up in Minneapolis for Super Bowl 2018. A new stadium is coming up in the city and is scheduled to open in 2016. The “Super Bowl Boulevard” will prominently provide the great Super Bowl experience. A new city park and new office tower is also coming up next to the stadium.

Many Super Bowl events are scheduled to be held in the Mall of America in Bloomington. The new J.W. Marriott hotel with hundreds of rooms is also set to open its doors in August 2015.
