New Signature Menus in Finnair Business Class Flights soon

A meal service renewal is currently underway. This is particularly good news for customers booking long-haul business class flights on Finnair. Finland’s national airline has announced that its customers traveling in long-haul business class would soon be able to enjoy new Signature Menus created by renowned Finnish chefs Tomi Björck and Pekka Terävä.

Finnair will be introducing the new menus on its flights to Japan starting September 19, 2013. The new menus will be subsequently offered on flights to North America, India, China, Korea and Singapore during the months of October and November this year.

Tomi Björck currently operates award-winning restaurants in Helsinki. The restaurants include the the Mediterranean-focused Boulevard Social as well as the Asia-inspired Farang and Gaijin. Another restaurant Farang Stockholm opened in February this year.

Pekka Terävä is presently working as a chef at Michelin-starred Restaurant Olo in Helsinki. This restaurant is famous for serving modern Scandinavian cuisine prepared with a combination of fresh and pure ingredients.
