Norwegian adding two new US routes from London Gatwick next year

Norwegian is set to launch flights services to two new destinations from the United States from London’s Gatwick Airport next year. The airline will be launching flights to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport from London Gatwick starting from March 25, 2018. The route will be served with four-time weekly service, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. After two days, Norwegian will also introduce flights to Austin from London Gatwick on March 27 next year. The thrice weekly flights on the route will be conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Providing details about the new schedule on both the routes, the airline in a statement said that the outbound flight will depart from London Gatwick at 10:00 hours and arrive in Chicago O’Hare at 12:25 hours. The return flight will make its departure from Chicago O’Hare at 15:15 hours and reach London Gatwick at 05:00 hours next day.

Regarding the services on Austin-London Gatwick route, the outbound flight will depart from London Gatwick at 10:00 hours and arrive in Austin at 14:05 hours. The return flight will take off from Austin at 16:20 hours and reach London Gatwick at 07:25 hours following day. Norwegian will deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to operate flights on both Chicago O’Hare-London Gatwick and Austin-London Gatwick routes. With the launch of flights on both the routes, the airline will be serving a total of 11 U.S. cities from London Gatwick.

Meanwhile, Norway’s leading low-cost carrier Norwegian has announced it will be launching nonstop flights between London Gatwick and Singapore’s Changi Airport. The new route will become operational effective from September 28, 2017. The flights to both the destinations will initially be operated four-time per week. However, the frequency on the route will be increased to five times per week during the coming winter season. The airline will deploy a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, configured with a total of 344 seats, to conduct flights between London Gatwick and Singapore.
