Norwegian Air adds two new flights to Orlando

Norwegian Air, the national airline of Norway announced its expansion plans recently. Earlier this July, the airline started operating the first ever flights between the USA and London Gatwick. Now, the airline plans to introduce a new route between London Gatwick International Airport (LGW) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).

This new service between LGW and MCO will be a nonstop service starting the first leg of its journey from April 4, 2015. The flights on this route will operate once every week and depart every Saturday. The airline will also fly from Copenhagen to Orlando once weekly, from March 30, 2015.

Norwegian will also increase the number of weekly flights from existing three to six between New York (JFK) and London Gatwick as of May, 2015. The flights will operate daily except Sundays.

Norwegian’s Chief Commercial Officer, Thomas Ramdahl was elated to announce the addition of weekly flights to a new destination, Orlando from London Gatwick and Copenhagen. He also added that Orlando is quite a famous destination with current flights being offered from Oslo. This addition of flights will give the travelers, more travel options to fly to this popular Floridian destination.

The airline planning to take delivery of the eighth 787 Dreamliner in spring 2015, looks forward to increase the number of departures on existing connections.

Norwegian Air is also planning to operate two flights every week between Los Angeles and Oslo from March, 2015 and three flights every week between Oakland/San Francisco Airport and Stockholm International Airport from late March, 2015.
