Norwegian Air launching flights to New York and Bangkok

Norway’s budget carrier Norwegian Air recently announced it would be launching its long-haul flights services to New York JFK and Bangkok from Stockholm. Earlier, the flights to both these destinations were thought only to be started from Oslo.

The airline in a statement said that flights to New York would begin operations on May 30, 2013, while the flights between Stockholm and New York would be launched from May 31, 2013.

The airline further stated that it would be launching flights to Bangkok from Oslo starting June 1, 2013. Norwegian Air also said that flights from Stockholm to Bangkok are set to be launched from June 20, 2013.

According to the airline, the customers would get opportunity to book cheap tickets with introductory offers. However, the prices would go up once the flights operations on these routes are stabilized. The airline would be offering cheap flights on Oslo-New York route starting at $640.28 (400 GBP) to $720.31 (450 GBP) round-trip.
