Norwegian launches direct service form Stockholm to LA

Norwegian Air Shuttle, popularly called Norwegian, announced the launch of its direct service to Los Angeles. Recently, Scandinavia’s second largest airline commenced nonstop flights from Stockholm to Los Angeles. As per the plan, it intends to continue operating thrice-weekly service until April 30, 2014. These flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The airline is one of the largest in Europe and it provides airline tickets at affordable rates to passengers to embark on their journeys. This new service between the Swedish capital and the Californian city will start a new chapter in the airline’s history. It is the first nonstop connection between the two cities. The management is extremely happy about its choice to connect these two cities.

The airline is looking to penetrate deep into the United States. It has thus announced the launch of new service between Stockholm and Oakland from May 3, 2014. These flights will function twice a week and will carry passengers to their destinations on Tuesdays and Saturdays only.

Besides these flights, the airline also flies to other destinations between Arlanda Airport in the Swedish city and gateways in the U.S. These include Fort Lauderdale and New York JFK. It also flies long haul to Thailand’s capital Bangkok. Currently, it offers service to more than 120 destinations across the world.
