Oman Air inaugurates newly-refurbished business class lounge

Oman Air recently inaugurated its newly-revamped First Class and Business Class lounges at Muscat International Airport, the airline’s main hub.

The refurbished lounges are situated on the first floor and will now be able to accommodate an additional 100 customers travelling by either first class or business class flights.

The lounges have been exquisitely designed. The lounges have a new family room, which has been designed around the theme of “A home away from home”. The elegant furnishings, contemporary styling, and traditional Arabic colours and motifs have however been retained in the newly revamped lounges.

According to a spokesperson of Oman Air, the premium customers will now be able to make use of an additional spa room, which will be complementing the existing ones.

The dining facilities at the lounges have also been upgraded. A wide range of fresh food in available to the customers, in addition to the usual buffet service. You can also look forward to enjoy haute cuisine with the newly-introduced a la carte option. Those who are heath conscious, the lounges have an exclusive ‘’healthy corner’ for serving balanced nutritious snacks and meals.

Maitha al Mahrouqi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Tourism and deputy chairman of Oman Air, while speaking on the occasion of inauguration ceremony of the revamped lounges, said, “It is a matter of great delight that the superb First Class and Business Class lounges at Muscat International Airport would be offering the fabled award-winning hospitality of the airline in an elegant and stylish setting. The lounges are exquisite and would be showcasing the very best of Omani design, craftsmanship and culinary skill to its privileged customers.”
