Oman Air wins Best Business Class Airline Seat award for second consecutive year

Oman Air announced it has become the proud winner of ‘Best Business Class Airline Seat’ at the recently-concluded prestigious World Airline Awards 2012.

The awards were presented by Skytrax, a global research company on airline quality and assessment. Skytrax's World Airline Awards are given every year based on voting done by millions of air travelers from across the world.

Oman Air bagged the ‘Best Business Class Airline Seat’ award for the second consecutive year. Wayne Pearce, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, received the award at a function held at UK's Farnborough International Airshow 2012 on July 12. The award was presented to the airline recognizing its Airbus A330 business class seats.

Apart from this, Oman Air also gained nominations in various other categories. The airline stood second in the ‘Best First Class Catering’ and ‘Best Airline Staff Service in Middle East’ categories. The airline also came third in the ‘World’s Best Business Class’ category. The airline was also placed among the top ten in the 'Best Business Class Airline Lounge', 'Best First Class Airline Seat' and 'Best Airline in the Middle East' categories.
