Only one such liquid container bag is, however, allowed for each traveler to carry along with him/her. According to the “3-1-1” rule, the following food and liquid items are allowed to be carried, such as creamy dips and spreads (jam, butter, cheese); mascara; facial creams and lotions; hair gels and shampoos; jellies; gravy; cologne; cranberry sauce; food gift baskets; maple syrup; oils and vinegars; perfumes; water; salad dressings; salsa; sauces; soups; and wine, liquor or beer. Thus, these are some of the items that are allowed to be carried as part of your travel luggage. Knowing the rules pertaining to air travel beforehand always helps, and it would be best for you to know them before leaving for the airport.
