Qantas Airways trials advance meal selection service for business class

Travelers from Los Angeles booking business class flights on Qantas Airways await a new flying experience.

Qantas Airways recently announced it has started conducting trials of pre-flight meal ordering for passengers booking business class tickets.
 
The airline in a statement said that the trial of its ‘Advance Meal Selection Service’ would enable passengers to order their in-flight meals online, even before they board their aircraft.

The airline stated that it is currently conducting trial of the Select on Q – Eat program. This facility would be initially available to passengers traveling in business class on four flights from Los Angeles to major New Zealand cities, including Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The flight on which this facility is available includes QF12, QF16, QF94 and QF108.

The trial presently covers only the supper portion of the flight. According to the airline, several dishes are available as part of the online menu when ordering in advance.
 
The airline stated that if the trial of Select on Q – Eat program is successful then this would later on be extended to other Qantas Airways flights.
