Qantas Club lounge opens at Gold Coast Airport for business class

Qantas Airways recently announced the launch of its new Qantas Club at Gold Coast Airport. The airline in a statement said that its customers booking business class tickets as well as other premium travelers would be able to enjoy the facilities at the lounge.

Providing details about its newly-opened lounge, the airline disclosed that the Qantas Club is located at the northern end of the Gold Coast Domestic Airport. The lounge is quite spacious and has a seating capacity of around 125 passengers. The lounge would offer the customers a luxurious space for relaxation, refreshing and work prior to their departure.

Lyell Strambi, Chief Executive Officer of Qantas Domestic, said that the unveiling of the Gold Coast Qantas Club shows the airline’s commitment to the south-east Queensland region.

He said that the Qantas Group is currently operating up to 189 domestic flights every week to the Gold Coast.
