Qantas premium economy Los Angeles-Sydney flights starting at $3,433

Australia’s flag carrier Qantas is offering premium economy flights tickets between Los Angeles and Sydney starting from $3,433* roundtrip. Passengers can take the best advantage of this fare for a week-long trip between the two destinations in May 2012.

Qantas is offering luxurious travel in dedicated premium economy cabins at a price significantly more affordable than business class.

According to the airline, passengers booking premium economy tickets are offered various amenities, such as a dedicated check-in line and priority boarding; free checked baggage allowances; larger, more comfortable seats with enhanced legroom and adjustable headrests; an amenity kit with earplugs, toothbrush, toothpaste, socks and an eye mask; complimentary newspapers and bar service; enhanced meal choices often served on fine china; on-demand personal video entertainment featuring television programs, movies, games, audio, books and music; and power outlets for laptops and mobile devices.

Currently, Qantas is the only airline that offers A380 service from the US on select nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Sydney as well as to Melbourne. The airlines offer 34 nonstop flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland from Los Angeles per week.

Apart from this, Qantas also offers six flights from Dallas/Fort Worth to Sydney, a daily direct service from New York JFK and three flights from Honolulu to Sydney.
