Qantas rolling out new business class suite from next year

In a war of sorts to aggressively attract premium travelers, various airlines have entered into a turf war to offer the best possible business class flights experience to their respective travelers. This may be gauged from the fact that the airlines have acknowledge the need to constantly innovate and upgrade, whether it be in terms of services, technology or new functions.

Australia’s national carrier Qantas Airways recently announced it is all set to roll out its new business class suite across its Airbus A330 business class cabins from next year. The airline’s initiative is being seen as the launch of a whole new concept in business class travel. The airline contends that it wants to give a new flying experience to its business travelers giving a more private and secure feeling.

Qantas Airways said that its new business class suite has been designed in a way that the travelers would get a more enclosed feeling and personal space. The airline has created a kind of sleeping/working pod in the soon-to-be-launched business class suite. So far, the passengers find themselves seated next to other passengers in business class cabins.

Even Singapore Airlines is not to be left behind in the race. The airline is planning to launch its “next generation” of business class seats in future. The new seats would offer greater recline at 132 degrees and feature an improved ergonomic seat cushion.
