Qatar Airway to double the flight frequency to Manchester

From the beginning of this June, Qatar Airways will be operating twice the number of current flights over the Manchester-Doha route. At present a daily flight service is being operated by the airline with split in the morning departure time on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and the afternoon departure time on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.

The beginning of June will fill up the gap between the schedules as the airline will offer daily morning and afternoon services from Manchester. The return leg from Doha will depart at the night and morning hours.

The new flights will broaden the choice for the passengers who live in Manchester and will also be beneficial to the passengers traveling to and from Australia by giving them the connecting Qatar’s Manchester service. The connecting flight service will be available on the flights that will operate in the morning and afternoon.

“Manchester has long proved to be one of our successful routes, so it was only a matter of time before we could deploy additional capacity into this market,” said, Akbar Al Baker, CEO Qatar Airways.

The airline has been operating two-class A330-200 aircraft on the Manchester-Doha route, which are equipped with 275 economy seats and 30 business class seats.
