Qatar Airways adds its first ultra-long haul Bombardier Global Express XRS to its growing fleet

Qatar Executive, Qatar Airways’ corporate jet division, recently added its first ultra-long haul Bombardier Global Express XRS to its growing fleet. The new addition is one of the most luxurious business jets available in the sky today.

Besides the new acquisition, the Qatar Executive also announced that it will be adding two more Bombardier aircrafts to its fleet – Challenger 605 in July and a Global 5000 in August.

“The Bombardier Global Express XRS aircraft is the epitome of luxury and comfort and a leader in terms of customer satisfaction. We are pleased to be able to offer this top of the range aircraft to our most demanding clientele,” said Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer.

The newly acquired Bombardier Global Express XRS features a spacious two cabin configuration, accommodating up to 13 passengers, with seats that convert into fully flat beds with a well-appointed aft stateroom for optimal relaxation and privacy. Equipped with a large galley, fine dining can be served anytime by the attentive crew throughout the entire journey.

According to the Qatar Airways, the super-large aircraft comes with cutting edge technology ranging from two large screens and two DVD and CD players to state-of-the-art communications equipment. The passengers can stay connected through satellite phones, high speed internet and are also offered business amenities such as printer capability.
