Qatar Airways is on the verge of introducing its award-winning business class seat Qsuite on jetliners flying to Shanghai. It has been declared that the seat will first make its debut from May 15. Qsuite maintains a standard of premium travelers with its quad seating configuration that comes with a copyright. The introduction of the seat in Shanghai flight will benefit the passengers to enjoy a new defined luxury.
Akbar al-Baker, chief executive of Qatar Airways Group stated, ‘Shanghai was the gateway to China of the airline which began in October 2003. This is why we have launched it on our flights to China, further embracing the dedication and growth of the Chinese market.’ He further added, ‘With this new commencement, we have readily improvised business class travel and re-evaluated the industry norms. By bringing about unrivalled luxury, comfort and style, we have made our travelers experience world-class business travel.’
Qsuite is embellished with private cabins and luxurious double beds. It also features movable TV monitors and adjustable panels on the center which allows the passengers to convert the space into a private suite, enabling them to socialize with their families.
Ever since the launch of Qsuite at ITB Berlin previous year, it has been receiving awards. Prior this month, Qatar Airways was awarded the Crystal Cabin Award for ‘Best Cabin Concept’. Currently, the airline operates 31 flights to six major gateways of China namely Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou on weekly basis.
