Qatar Airways Receives Best Business Class in the World Award for Second Year

Qatar Airways has received the Best Business Class in the World Award for the second year in a row at an event in Dubai. This is the second consecutive year that the airline received this, awarded through a survey from readers of Business Traveller Middle East.

The Doha based airline was faced with stiff competition from neighboring regional carriers. Business Traveller Middle East readers voted for the airline based on the strength of their inflight service, cabin comfort, ground hospitality and product offerings for travelers taking business class flights. The airline is equipped with superior business class seats, with a pitch of up to 78 inches, above industry norm, and fully flatbed seats onboard their flagship long-haul Boeing 777 aircraft.

Qatar Airways’ interactive inflight entertainment system, Oryx Multiplex in the Sky, has also been applauded by readers. The state of the art system offers passengers across all cabins over 1,000 diverse audio and video options from music and movies to games, TV shows and much more.

Currently, Qatar Airways serves 113 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America from their main hub in Doha.
