Qatar Airways expands flight service on Doha-Budapest route

Doha based – Qatar Airways, recently announced the expansion of its flight service to the Hungarian capital, Budapest by offering direct flights to Budapest instead of the present routing via Bucharest. The new flight service will begin from 14th September 2011.

The airline will also increase its flight frequency from thrice weekly to daily flight service from 14th September 2011on the current Doha-Bucharest-Budapest route.

The new re-scheduled flights will depart from Doha at 09.00am and will arrive in Budapest at 01.35pm. The round trip flight will depart from Budapest at 05.30pm and will arrive in Doha at 11.45pm.

Budapest airport recently inaugurated its 24,000sqm Skycourt terminal that has brought together Terminals 2A and B. The new building can now accommodate approximately 8.5million passengers and will also provide easier connections to the business travelers.
