Qatar Airways Expands its connectivity in Europe

Qatar Airways recently announced to further expand its connectivity in Europe. The new routes to be operational by this month include Bucharest, Budapest and Brussels. The airways will further expand the operations to Stuttgart by March. There will be a slight increase in the capacity over the routes to Copenhagen and Barcelona.

The four-time weekly service to Bucharest and Budapest will start from 17th January 2011; five-time weekly service to Brussels will begin from 31st January 2011. The above two routes will be combined with the thrice weekly flights to Stuttgart that will be operational from 6th March 2011.

The service to Copenhagen will be increased to six-times daily by 27th March 2011 and the capacity to Barcelona will be doubled by exchanging the existing A319 aircraft by A330 carrier.

Qatar Airways recently replaced A330 carrier by Boeing 777 aircraft over the daily Doha-Madrid route.
