Qatar Airways named Business Airline of the Year

The excellent service being provided to the customers booking business class flights by Qatar Airways has been adjudged as the best. Qatar Airways was recently named ‘Business Airline of the Year’ during the prestigious UK Business Travel Awards 2014 which lately concluded in London. The airline also won ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ Award during the same awards ceremony in the UK.

A renowned UK publication ‘Buying Business Travel’ organized the 19th Annual Business Travel Awards which was attended by over 1,300 air travel industry professionals. The awards are given every year to celebrate the achievement of the leading players in the airline industry.

In recent years, Qatar Airways has also been a recipient of other awards as well. Qatar Airways was also recently presented the ‘Best Business Class’ Award at the Business Traveller UK Awards. The airline also won the ‘Best Middle East Airline’ Award after being voted by the readers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific.

While announcing the awards, the judges commented that it was believed that Qatar Airways was an outstanding entry. The airline was appropriately backed up by glowing testimonials from the leading managers and buyers in the corporate sector. The judges lauded the airline for providing a dedicated business terminal at its primary hub at Doha International Airport, free limousine service to first class passengers from aircraft to the terminal and an impressive retention rate of corporate clients.
