Qatar Airways ranked No. 2 as World’s Best Business Class

Qatar Airways has been ranked No. 2 in the business class category. The prestigious Skytrax 2016 World Airline Awards has been announced. Qatar’s national carrier Qatar Airways has won the title of “World’s Best Business Class”. Apart from this, the airline also won other top awards as well. These among others include “World’s Best Business Class Lounge” and “Best Airline Staff in the Middle East”.

The Skytrax 2016 World Airline Awards presentation was held at Farnborough Airshow. The world’s top 10 airlines for 2016 include Emirates Airline, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, All Nippon Airways, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, EVA Air, Qantas Airways and Lufthansa. Other award-winning airlines include Virgin America, Thomson Airlines, Thai Airways, Spring Airlines, South African Airways, Sky Airline, Royal Air Maroc, Porter Airlines, Norwegian, LAN Airlines, Jetstar Airways, IndiGo, Hawaiian Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Finnair, Ethiopian Airlines, Copa Airlines, Bangkok Airways, Azul – Brazilian Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Asiana Airlines, AirAsia X, Air New Zealand, Air France, Air Astana, Aeroflot and Aegean Airlines.

The Skytrax 2016 World Airline Awards gala ceremony was attended by top officials from over 40 airlines across the world. Air travelers named Emirates Airline as the “World’s Best Airline”. The awards are presented every year in many different categories. The awards process involves a survey in which air travelers are asked to voted the airlines of their preferences based on their products, services, customer relations, and various other factors.
