Qatar Airways to increase frequencies on Miami-Doha route Nov 18

Qatar Airways recently celebrated the first anniversary of its non-stop flight services between Miami and Doha. To mark the successful completion of its first year, the airline announced that it will be increasing the frequencies on the route later this year keeping in with the growing passenger demand.

A spokesperson of Qatar Airways said that the non-stop flights to Miami from Doha will be increased to a daily service from five times per week. The increase of frequencies between Doha''s Hamad International Airport and Miami International Airport will be effective from November 18, 2015.

Qatar Airways, a member of the oneworld alliance, is presently the only international carrier offering nonstop flights between Miami and the Middle East. The airline offers convenient connects South Florida to more than 140 destinations across the world through its main hub in Doha.

The airline is serving Miami-Doha route with the help of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured in two classes – 42 seats in Business Class and 293 seats in Economy Class. The passengers are offered personal seatback TV screens with next-generation interactive onboard entertainment system and a wide selection of more than 2,000 AVOD options.

Qatar Airways, while increasing its frequencies to Miami, also indicated that it is all set to expand its footprint in the United States with the launch of flights to new destinations next year. The airline will be launching its non-stop flights on Doha-Los Angeles route from January 1, on Boston-Doha route from March 16, and on Doha-Atlanta route from July 1, 2016. The flights services to the three destinations will be operated daily.
