Qatar’s national carrier recently won the title of top global long-haul airline during the Business Travel Awards 2017 presentation ceremony held in London. The judges of the award while commenting on their decision said that Qatar Airways had been operating routes on an extensive worldwide network and has also proved to be a socially responsible corporation.
“We take pride in saying that Qatar Airways stand head and shoulders above all other airlines in the world today. And, it is the airline’s commitment to offer the best possible products and services to its customers which makes it really stand out,” said the judges announcing their decision.

Bronzetti also remarked that Qatar Airways has been constantly upgrading its fleet and enhancing the range of its products so that it continued to remain a leader and set benchmark in the air travel industry. She said that it was a proud moment to receive the coveted award at the 22nd edition of the Business Travel Awards at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House. The award ceremony was attended by more than 1,200 people.
Qatar Airways is presently operating a total of 72 flights per week to the United Kingdom from its hub at Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
