Qatar Airways wins two awards for flagship A350 and A380

Qatar Airways, which had won “Airline of the Year” award at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2015, has once again a winner when the Doha-based airline was presented with two awards at the recently-concluded Australian Business Traveller Awards ceremony.

Often called the 5-Star airline, Qatar Airways was presented with the “Best Inflight Lounge” for its superjumbo Airbus A380 lounge. The lounge on board its flagship A380 superjumbo has been widely praised by the airline’s premium customers travelling in first class or taking business class flights to long-haul international destinations. The lounge offers the customers a space for socializing with their fellow travellers over drinks.

Apart from “Best Inflightt Lounge” award, Qatar Airways was also presented the “Best Economy Class” award for its top-notch economy class cabins in its Airbus A350 aircrafts. The airline is renowned for offering a generous 18 inches wide seats in economy class with ample space around the knees for even the tallest traveller.
