Qatar Signs Codeshare Agreement with American Airlines

Qatar Airways recently announced that it has signed a codeshare agreement deals with American flying giant American Airlines. The alliance comes ahead of Qatar Airways Oneworld's alliance. With this codeshare Qatar Airways will be able to venture out new growth opportunities in the United States.

The airline stated that under this codeshare, nonstop international flights between Doha and US, connecting flights from Paris and London, flights beyond Doha and flights within the US will be covered.

This codeshare will be effective for travel from February 26, 2013 and passengers can book the tickets for the same with effect from February 10, 2013. with this codeshare agreement customers will also get ample seamless choices by letting both Qatar and American to work in tandem to better their flight schedules and connection times.
