Ryanair ready to attract business customers with new service

UK’s leading budget carrier Ryanair has undergone a transformation and is eager to earn more revenues by attracting business travelers in a big way. The airline recently announced the launch of its new tier of “business class” service.

Media reports had earlier quoted the airline as saying that if allowed by the country’s aviation safety authorities, it would have brought innovations by introducing standing-only flights. The airline is now backtracking from its earlier position and is now ready to attract business travelers quite aggressively.

Ryanair has now introduced its “Business Plus” tickets aimed at attracting corporate travelers who won’t mind paying more for quite better service. With the new Business Plus tickets, the travelers will now be able to switch to another flight on the same day. The business class travelers can now take advantage of this unique offer to connect to any airport in the same destination country. This can however be done only up to 40 minutes prior to departure at no extra fee.
  
Usually, the travelers are charge a fee to make any change. But, this will be exempted for those traveling on Business Plus tickets. The travelers on this ticket will also be allowed one free checked hold baggage of up to 20 kg. However, when flying on busy routes during peak season, the travelers will be required to pay up to 75 GBP in addition to a standard ticket.

According to Ryanair, there will however be no separate business class cabins for those traveling on Business Plus tickets. The airline will be offering same type of seats to business customers as provided to other customers.

The airline will however be offering premium seats at the front of the aircraft for providing a quick exit. The premium seats will also be available in exit rows giving more legroom to the customers traveling on Business Plus tickets. The airline will also provide priority boarding as well as FastTrack security lane access at selected airports such as Manchester and Stansted to such customers.
