SIA unveils the first look of its refurbished Boeing 777-300ER

Singapore Airlines that offers its customers a plush experience has something new to offer. The airline, which is synonymous with luxury and comfort, received its Boeing 777-300ER fitted with modern and plush interiors.

The aircraft that features the refurbished interiors will provide customers traveling on cheap business class tickets a whole new lavish experience onboard. The carrier has plans to launch the service of its newly designed B777 on Singapore-London Heathrow route either from late September or early October this year. It intends to roll out the cabin design to other crafts from the same series, and it is set to take deliveries next year.

The new business class seats can be converted into fully flat beads and the airline believes that these seats are the widest across the industry. It has used the services of DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary of BMW for this swanky makeover. Passengers will also be able to relish the revamped in-flight entertainment system, which offers more options than ever.

This new investment is a part of the airline’s overall strategy to stay ahead in the completion on long-haul international routes. It also is a way to entice business travelers that comprise a considerable chunk of its revenues.

Aviation sector is highly volatile wherein the airlines are doing everything to attract customers. The carrier has also renovated the interiors of its first and economy classes as well.
