Singapore Airlines add A380 flights to New York - Frankfurt – Singapore

Singapore Airline has announced the addition of new flights on the JFK- Frankfurt-Singapore route. With this addition, passengers booking Singapore Airlines flight tickets would get access to the all new A380s and the plethora of in-flight products at all US Gateways.  Operations are planned for January 16th, 2012 start.

Once the new A380 flights are operational, New York would be the 10th destination under Singapore Airlines to get a superjumbo. It would be the second point in US, after Lon Angeles.

SA A380s have lived up to their reputation and over 5.6 million passengers have boarded this superjumbo, since it made its debut in 2007.

The new superjumbo flights would replace the Boeing 747-400 and help the airline offer 25% more in seat capacity. Singapore Airlines as of now has 13 A380s in service and a further six on firm order.
