Singapore Airlines is ready to start-off its non-stop flights flying between Singapore and New York. Soon to be launched on October 11, a new two-class A350-900ULR will handle the services of the upcoming route. Furthermore, it will feature latest A38 A380 luxury business class seat accessories comprising reclining full-flat bed and direct aisle access for business class travelers.
Singapore Airlines has also announced to launch ‘Wellness cuisine’ for its soon approaching carrier flying on routes between Singapore and New York. This 18-hour 45-minute flight primarily focuses on expanding the comfort of the passengers.
In partnership with wellness brand Canyon Ranch, the airline will aim in preparing nutrition-based menus. In addition, the airline will also come up with stretching and exercise plans as well as scientifically backed sleep which are developed to eliminate jetlag and helps sleep.
Though, at present, the airline has not listed many details, it has affirmed two dishes namely Seared Chicken and Zucchini Pappardelle with ingredients comprising Parmesan, pasta-cut zucchini, lemon vinaigrette braised tomatoes and micro basil. The newly introduced services will be available on supreme-long-haul non-stop flights traveling on routes to New York first before getting transferred to flights between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The new menu mainly will be centered around hydration and nutrition blending textures and flavors. Alongside, stretching exercises by Canyon Ranch exercise physiologist will be offered as part of the in-flight entertainment. This service is to promote relaxation amongst flyers during the long-haul journey.
