South Africa’s national carrier South African Airways has recently launched special Premium Business Class fares for travel from various destinations in the
United States to Africa in 2017. The discounted fares are available for travel to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Senegal and Dakar from Washington D.C. The fares on roundtrip tickets are applicable for travel until December 31, 2017.
Todd Neuman, Executive Vice President, the Americas for South African Airways, said, “The discounted fares are indeed great opportunity for our customers to enjoy the comfort and luxury of traveling in the award-winning Premium Business Class throughout 2017.”
Neuman said that South African Airways has earned the 4-Star rating by Skytrax for 14 consecutive years. This consistent acknowledgement has been primarily due to the warm South African hospitality and world-class service being offered to the customers traveling in Premium Business Class.
Media reports said that South African Airways introduced its new Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the Washington Dulles route offering enhanced Premium Business Class experience. The Washington Dulles route will be served with thrice weekly service. The reports further stated that A330-300 flights on Washington Dulles route will be expanded from thrice weekly to a daily service effective from June 3, 2017.
Providing details about Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the reports said that the Premium Business Class on this fuel efficient aircraft will be prominently featuring 180° flat-bed seats, increased privacy, state-of-the-art technology, a multifunctional living space, and interiors with warm neutral colors and finishes. The customers will also be offered direct aisle access. The interior design in the aircraft is such that the premium customers feel well rested with the relaxed ambience.
South African Airways, a Star Alliance member and recipient of many airline awards, is currently offering convenient connections to more than 100 cities in the United States and Canada in partnerships with various North American carriers, such as Virgin America, American Airlines, JetBlue airways, Air Canada and United Airlines. The airline conducts daily nonstop flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and direct flights services from Washington Dulles.
