Spirit Airlines recently started offering nonstop flights services between Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Latrobe’s Arnold Palmer Regional Airport (LBE). The flights between the two U.S. destinations will be operated daily.
The airline is presently operating several year-round and seasonal flights from Latrobe to major cities in Florida such as Tampa, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. The airline is also offering services to Myrtle Beach as well.
Spirit Airlines had earlier in March this year announced that it will launching flights to Chicago from Latrobe effective from May 7, 2015. The daily services to be operated between Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Latrobe’s Arnold Palmer Regional Airport will offer the travelers to conveniently connect to many Western destinations such as Minneapolis-St. Paul, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas and Dallas/Fort Worth.
With the launch of services from Chicago, Spirit Airlines will be operating nonstop flights services to a total of 23 cities in the United States. These destinations among others include Tampa, San Diego, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Orlando, Oakland/San Francisco Bay, New York, New Orleans, Myrtle Beach, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Houston, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Boston, Baltimore/Washington D.C., Atlantic City and Atlanta. Apart from these cities, the airline is offering connecting service to more than 30 domestic and international destinations.
Mark Kopczak, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines, said, “The company is excited to provide flights services to more cities than before. The new routes will continue to benefit the customers with cheap airfares as usual.” He further said that the has grown by 30 percent in the beginning of 2015 and will continue to expand its network with the addition of new destinations.
