Spirit Airlines launches Low Fare Nonstop Service on SAN-DEN

Spirit Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop service between San Diego International Airport (SAN) and Denver International Airport (DEN) recently. This new nonstop service will commence from January 5, 2015. This is a great piece of news for the Southern Californians as they can head to the mile-high city with ultra low airfares.

While the natives of the United States will head to the beaches in winter, the residents of San Diego can enjoy the mountainous city of Denver with low air travel cost. The addition of Denver route gives Spirit a sum of five cities where the airline offers nonstop flights from San Diego, including: Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Houston (Bush Intercontinental) and Los Cabos, Mexico. Spirit Airlines will commence the return leg on January 6, 2015 which will add to the nine cities where Spirit flies directly from Denver including: Houston (Bush Intercontinental), Chicago (O'Hare), Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Dallas/Fort Worth, and San Diego.

Mark Kopczak, Vice President of Network Planning for Spirit Airlines commented in a statement that Ultra Low Bare Fare plus Frill Control offered by Spirit will allow the customers to enjoy the winter snow in Denver without having to pay a fortune for their airline ticket. The Airbus A319 aircraft will operate on these daily flights. The flights will depart SAN at 8.45 pm and arrive in DEN at 11.45 pm. The return flight leaves from DEN at 7.25 am and arrives in SAN at 8.43 am.

Spirit Airlines will also offer daily nonstop flights from San Diego to Chicago (O'Hare). The flight service will commence on April 16, 2015.
