Spirit Airlines to resume its Denver Services

Spirit Airlines, the ultra-low cost carrier, after eight years had decided to resume its flights to Denver. The airline is to begin nonstop daily service beginning May 3 from Denver to Chicago O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas.

With this announcement the competition in Denver airlines market has become stiffer. As Frontier Airline and Southwest Airline, both low cost airlines are already coveting for spot 1 and 2. Spirit spokeswoman Misty Pinson in an interview said that the airline is confident of ruling the Denver market with its unmatchable low fares. It is well know that Spirit is known for its base fares, which are as low as $9.

Market experts believe it would be interesting to wait and watch the Denver airline market, as the question is whether the market will be able to breathing space to another ultra-low cost airline.
