Starbow launched as Ghana’s latest flights operator

Starbow has been launched as Ghana’s latest addition to flights operators. The new airline would be using BAE 146 passenger jets.  The airline started its operations after a little delay from September 26th, 2011. The flights were originally planned for August. Starbow is an extension of Aero Survey Limited, which has already been operating commercial flights on domestic routes.

These new flights are configured with 8 business class seats and 86 economy seats. The new flight would ply the Accra and Kumasi centered routes and link them to other destinations such as Takoradi and Tamale.

As per the plans made public, the airline would gradually grow to include neighboring countries such as Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, Niger and Sierra Leone. Through these latest initiatives, the airline is looking to capitalize on the severe shortcoming of regular flights to African cities.
