Starwood developing its Aloft and Element brands in Boston

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc has announced that it has decided to develop its twin hotel brands “Aloft” and “Element” in Boston responding to the popular and ever increasing demand for more and more mass market brands. The two hotels will be opened in 2016.

A spokesperson of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc said that the two hotels will be strategically located. The Aloft Boston Waterfront Hotel will be a 330 room property, while the Element Boston Waterfront Hotel will comprise of 180 rooms. Both the hotels will be situated on D Street. The two hotels’ convenient location right across the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center is likely to benefit the customers.
 
The customers will also find it easy to reach both the hotels because of their easy accessibility from the financial district Black Bay as well as Boston’s Logan International Airport.

Staying at the two hotels will also be fruitful and convenient for the customers in other ways as well. After completing their business chores, the customers can also spare some time to visit famous attractions such as Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, both of which are in their close proximity.

The company said that this will be their second Aloft-Element dual properties to be developed in Boston. The company’s first dual Aloft-Element properties were opened in Lexington in 2008.

Media reports said that Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc wants to open its two brands in several key urban locations because of the growing demand, particularly for its Element brand.

Apart from its domestic expansion in the United States, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc is keen to expand its Element brand further in other countries. The company is now planning to move ahead and open its Element brand in countries such as the UK, China and Germany. The company wants to open 15 more Element-branded hotels by the end of 2017.
