Starwood Hotels’ new Westin hotel in Greater Houston soon

Greater Houston is all set to see the popular Westin brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. being opened by the end of 2015. The Starwood Hotels recently announced that it is soon going to open its fifth Westin hotel in the city.

Media reports said that “The Westin, The Woodlands” will be opened by 2015 end. The newly built property will open within The Woodlands, which is one of the premier business center and leading master planned communities in the United States. The Woodlands is situated 27 miles north of downtown Houston.

According to reports, the new Westin hotel in Greater Houston will comprise of 302 well-appointed, luxurious guest rooms. “The Westin, The Woodlands” will also prominently feature other amenities and services as well. These include a business center, WestinWORKOUT studio, an outdoor pool, and above 15,000 sq ft of pre-function and meeting place. All these will be provided at a picturesque location providing fascinating views of The Woodlands Waterway in Waterway Square.

Apart from this, the new hotel will be also offer a lobby bar, a 150-seat restaurant and second level pool deck and bar providing direct access to The Fountains at Waterway Square. The visitors will also be get access to the performance stage at Waterway Square by crossing over the adjacent pedestrian bridge that spans The Waterway.

The Westin, The Woodlands hotel will also be within walking distance to many corporate offices, restaurants and shops in The Waterway Square District, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and The Woodlands Mall and Market Street.
