‘StayConnected’ during your Hilton stay

Whether you are a frequent traveler or just only a once-a-year vacationer and prefer staying at a hotel, you will at least look for one amenity, which has become a common phenomenon these days. This is particularly a must for a laptop, tablet or smartphone user. Guess what we are talking about! Yeah, you just got us right – it’s about the availability of a free Wi-Fi.

Today, looking for a free Wi-Fi during your hotel stay has become an absolute prerequisite. There are many hotels that offer Wi-Fi for free, while there are some that are charging for the service. Hilton Hotels is one such brand that has made Wi-Fi a priority. This service is available for free in some of its properties, while in others the customers are being charged for this.   

The luxury properties of the flagship Hilton brand such as Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, Embassy Suites and DoubleTree still continue to charge for using Wi-Fi in their guestrooms. On the other hand, Hilton’s extended-stay brands and “focused service” such as Home2Suites, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites are offering complimentary Wi-Fi to their guests. A tiered Wi-Fi structure has now been introduced by Hilton for its guests who require more than just using basic internet.

A special ‘StayConnected’ program has recently been introduced by Hilton. This is a dedicated personal service for the guests. The program includes a round-the-clock dedicated call center for helping guests-on-move with their Wi-Fi issues. The program also enables both the operators and owners to access bandwidth usage to help better understand the particular needs of guests.
