Swiss International to boost the First Class in-flight service

Swiss International Airlines has been in a process to facilitate its first class passengers with several in-flight benefits. The enhanced services that will begin from March 2011 includes a La carte dining concept on overnight flights. The new services will contain fine bone chinaware, and new amenity kids and Pyjamas.

The airline will shift to LA carte service from the present night flight trolley service. The new service will offer a choice of meals and the time to have those meals to the passengers onboard. The passengers will be able to choose from the large breakfast selection, which will include fresh boiled eggs and Swiss Birchermusli.

The first class passengers will be served with contemporary fine bone chinaware and elegant Riedel glasses in their cabins. The meals will also have different and new flavors such as veal sausage with hash browns, and an expanded a LA carte selection prior to landing.

The airline will soon introduce the first class amenity kits, pyjamas and blankets in the coming months. The luxurious sofa/ lounge style blankets and pillows especially designed by Caroline Flueler, and the brand new amenity kits that will contain LA Prairie products.

At present the airline is providing the first class in-flight service on selected routes that are being operated by A330-300 aircrafts.
