SWISS presented “Europe’s Leading Airline Business Class” award

Switzerland’s national carrier SWISS has been presented with the “Europe’s Leading Airline Business Class” award during the recently announced 2014 World Travel Awards. The airline has become a winner for fourth consecutive time in this category. SWISS also has the honors of claiming top position in this category 6 times ever since 2005.

Markus Binkert, Chief Commercial Officer of SWISS, was jubilant over the airline’s feat. He said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that the product and services of the airline have received wide appreciation worldwide. The business class customers flying with SWISS are to be lauded the most for lauding the airline for the privileges and amenities it has been providing. He said that the recent award will work wonders once again in motivating the airline to progress further and prompt it to invest even more for improving its services and products.

Binkert said that SWISS has vastly upgraded its products and providing the best customer services in recent years. The business class cabins on its long-haul routes are now equipped with two-meter-long fully lie-flat bed. Further, the airline’s “Taste of Switzerland” culinary concept on its intercontinental routes has been greatly appreciated. The customers on these routes are being offered a delicious menu of drinks and food that are varied and regionally inspired.

SWISS has also become one of the first airlines in the world to launch a 24-hour customer service via different social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook ever since 2012. This has provided opportunity to the airline’s customers to get into contact with a SWISS Service Centre round the clock.
