The launch of A380 on Tokyo-Los Angeles delayed by Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines recently announced the indefinite delay in the launch of Tokyo-Los Angeles flight service that was to be operated by Airbus A380 carrier. The airline previous announced that the service on the new route will begin from 27th March 2011.

The carrier will now be operating Boeing B777-300ER aircraft instead of the present B747-400aircraft. With this the airline will join Air France and Lufthansa in reorganizing their superjumbos from Japan.

The airline has also stopped the layover of the crew to Tokyo that also include include Cathay Pacific and British Airways.
