Thompson Seattle proposed to open in spring 2016

A new hotel to be operated under the Thompson Hotels flag is scheduled to open in Seattle in spring 2016. To be called “Thompson Seattle”, this will be Thompson Hotel’s first property to come into existence in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

The proposed construction of the new property was announced recently by Commune Hotels & Resorts, which has partnered with two other firms, to develop the hotel.

Thompson Seattle is expected to open in spring 2016. The hotel will be coming up in the heart of downtown, strategically located at the northeast corner of Stewart Street and 1st Avenue. The 12-storey hotel will fascinate the visitors with amazingly unhindered views of the surrounding Olympic Mountain Range and Puget Sound, and will be adjacent to the globally renowned Pike Place Market.

Both the business and leisure travelers will find the desirable location of Thomson Seattle ideal for their stay. It will be equally sought after by prospective tenants yearning for a fabulous lifestyle experience. The hotel’s convenient access to Seattle’s main financial center as well as recreational activities in the nearby Lake Union will provide yet another excuse for staying here.

The architects involved in planning the Thompson Seattle architectural design said that the hotel will comprise of 159 rooms, 97 residences, subterranean parking, a signature, ground-floor restaurant concept, and an expansive retail space spanning over 1,6000 square feet area.
The Thompson Seattle will also have a rooftop deck offering 9,500 square feet of indoor/outdoor space. There will be an outdoor lounge as well providing a unique area for hosting private events.
