Three new hotels in Boston await openings in 2015
Boston has always tried to keep Bostonians and its visitors excited with its latest offerings. There’s a lot going around in Boston presently. And, there are more things to come next year. The buzz doing rounds these days is that three new hotels are scheduled to be opened in Boston in 2015. The groundbreaking has already been done and construction is underway. Here’s all that you can expect on the hotel front next year. Hold your breath! The three hotels that will open their doors for the visitors are Envoy Hotel, Aloft Hotel and Courtyard Boston TD Garden.
The Envoy Hotel being built at an estimated $70 million is scheduled to open in 2015. The hotel is coming up on the Sleeper Street nearby Barking Crab restaurant. This 6-story property will be a part of Marriott’s luxury brand ‘Autograph Collection’. The hotel will have 136 rooms. The highlight would be a pedestrian plaza linking to the Boston HarborWalk.
The Aloft Hotel is yet another property to watch out for. This Boston property will also make debut in 2015. It is coming up opposite the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The hotel will have 330 rooms on its massive 5.6 acre parcel. The Aloft Hotel will share neighborhood with Starwood’s Element Hotel.
The Courtyard Boston TD Garden hotel, which is to open in 2015, will have 210 rooms. The property is coming up adjacent to the TD Garden, and will be Marriott-owned TownPlace Suites’ second extended-stay property. This hotel will be good news for Celtics and Bruins fans, for whom the game arena will be a short walk from the hotel room.
